FAQ

Common questions

How does the licence work?
After purchase you'll receive a licence key by email. On first launch of the app you enter the key, which then binds to your Raspberry Pi's hardware ID. One key = one Pi installation.
Can I transfer my licence to a new Pi?
Yes — contact us and we'll reset the hardware binding so you can activate on a different Pi. This is for genuine hardware replacements, not sharing.
Does it need an internet connection?
Yes, for receiving live DX cluster data. The app connects to DX cluster servers over the internet. The web interface works on your local network without internet.
Is there a subscription?
No. One payment, lifetime licence. All updates are included for free.
What DX clusters does it support?
The app supports Telnet-based DX clusters (AR-Cluster, DX Spider, CC Cluster). You can configure multiple cluster servers and switch between them.
What happens if the licence server goes down?
The app caches your verified status locally. A temporary outage won't interrupt normal operation — it only re-verifies periodically.
