1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with I Make Stuff you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

We provide custom 3D printing services. All orders are subject to review and acceptance. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including but not limited to orders for items that are illegal, offensive, or infringe third-party intellectual property.

3. Orders & Quotes

• All prices shown are estimates until a formal quote is issued.
• Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
• We reserve the right to amend a quote if design files differ materially from what was described.
• Full payment is required before printing begins.

4. Intellectual Property

By submitting design files you confirm that you own or have the right to use the design, and that printing it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights. You indemnify I Make Stuff against any claims arising from your design files.

5. Returns & Refunds

• Due to the custom nature of 3D printing, we do not accept returns unless the item is defective or does not match the agreed specification.
• Claims for defective items must be made within 14 days of delivery.
• We will offer a reprint or refund at our discretion.

6. Delivery

Lead times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. Who We Are

I Make Stuff is a 3D printing service based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What Data We Collect

• Account data: name, email address and password when you register.
• Order data: delivery address, order details and payment information (payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store card details).
• Design files: STL, OBJ or other files you upload for printing.
• Usage data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited).

3. How We Use Your Data

• To process and fulfil your orders.
• To send you order updates and quotes by email.
• To maintain your account.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on servers located in the United Kingdom / European Economic Area. We take appropriate technical measures to protect it.

5. Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Order data is retained for 7 years for accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — to keep you logged in and remember your basket. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
